Race Weekend is ... OVER

The weekend is over, finally, less stress. The week before last weekend was crazy, as we tried to prepare the Rudges for the race. As usual, since we didn't have much time for this last winter, everything was last minute. Though I have to say, it was not so bad. The weather was bizarre, BUT it didn't rain on us. It was nice actually since heat and sunshine at Mosport isn't fun.
The bikes ran great, and we all had a great time. There was even a guy from New York State who brought and raced his 1935 Indian. He will hopefully be coming back next year, as he had a good weekend. What a difference between my 1934 Rudge and the Indian ... amazing how advanced the Rudges were for their time. Even compared to our friend's Velocette. The velo ran great also, and I am happy to say, that the crankcase half that I machined him from solid held up, and got rid of all the oil leaks, and the set of cam followers I made him also did their job, and now with the new ratio for the followers, the bike actually has some power!
Anyway, I need to get some of the pics posted and will do in the next few days.
Blah ... back to work.
